Taking care after treatment

• You may begin to notice the effects of your anti-wrinkle treatment within 2-3 days, with its effect lasting up to 3 months. However, the duration of effect will vary from person to person.
• Avoid putting any pressure on the treated area for 24-48 hours.
• Do not massage the area of injection for at least 4 hours after treatment.
• Minimise excessive exercise in the first couple of days following treatment.
• Do not lie down for 4 hours after your treatment.

Possible side effects

• You may experience a mild headache after treatment.
• Tenderness and bruising may also appear at the injection site.

Treatment duration and follow-up

• You are recommended to attend a follow-up appointment approximately 2 weeks after your treatment. This enables your practitioner to review the result.
• Due to the way that the medication works, we can only accommodate reviews up to 4 weeks from the treatment date. After this period reviews and top-ups, unfortunately, cannot be done.
• Anti-wrinkle treatments can last up to 3-4 months before re-treatment is required to maintain the results. As the duration of effect will vary from person to person, please speak to your treating practitioner about ongoing treatment.
